Description

Finished in black and red, power is from a 303ci Oldsmobile V8 backed by a Lincoln three-speed manual gearbox. Additional features include a quick-change rear end, four-wheel drum brakes, triple Stromberg induction, and a Mallory magneto.

The Model T roadster body wears an older black finish, which exhibits some wear and checking in areas. A cutdown radiator grille is fitted up front, and a pair of fenders made from a modified spare tire cover hug each front wheel. The flames are a magnet stick-on.

Red steel wheels wear a set of whitewall tires, and hydraulic drum brakes are mounted all around. A forged drop I-beam axle is fitted up front with a pair of hairpin radius arms, and suspension is via transverse leafs front and rear. The dual exhaust system features a set of mufflers below the cab, as well as a pair of side-mounted megaphone cutouts.

The bench seat and cockpit surround are trimmed in black and red Naugahyde. A radio from a 1946 Nash is mounted above the transmission tunnel.

Stewart Warner gauges include a 160-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer with a telltale. Amperage, oil temperature, oil pressure, and water temperature are also displayed. 3k miles are shown on the odometer.

The 303ci Oldsmobile OHV V8 is equipped with an Isky Racing camshaft and milled heads. Induction is through three Stromberg 97 carburetors atop an Edelbrock aluminum intake. Power is routed through a three-speed manual gearbox from a 1939 Lincoln and a quick-change Model A rear axle. Service in March of this year included a fluid change and mechanical inspection.
